That ended up getting a no result because they had trouble with the resequencing, which is apparently common for twins.
I’m getting the NIPT test in two weeks and my Dr. There is always a chance you are that 1%, but it’s highly unlikely.
We are waiting for the scan to confirm the blood test before we let everyone know the gender. It very rarely means there is anything wrong, odds are everything is fine.

Dec 4, 2020 · Non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is an optional blood test you can do in your first trimester (anytime after week 10) that looks for chromosomal abnormalities in baby, like Down syndrome, trisomy 18 and trisomy 13. My NIPT test had to be redone due to not enough fetal blood. The test showed it was one gender but the old wives tales the other.
